Admissions Overview & Process

Kindergarten

GIIS Montessori Plus offers classes for Junior KG or K1 and Senior KG or K2. The admission age criteria for various grades are as follows:

Junior KG or K1	3 years as on 31^st March of that academic year
Senior KG or K2	4 years as on 31^st March of that academic year

The admission criteria is as follows:

1. 2 x Color Photo (passport size)

2. Passport / ID photocopy of Student and Parent

3. Birth Certificate

4. Transfer Certificate (if any)

5. Previous Marksheets (if any)

6. Medical form (issued by school at the time of admission)

Note:

GIIS students who complete GIIS Montessori plus Kindergarten programme, would get preferential admission in Standard 1 admissions and would get subsidies in the enrolment fee applicable top up.

CAMBRIDGE CURRICULUM

Cambridge International Primary Programme (CIPP)	Year 1 to 6 Min. Age 5 for Year 1
Cambridge Lower Secondary (CLS)	Year 7 to 9 Min. Age 11 for Year 7
IGCSE / Middle Secondary	Year 10 & 11 Min. Age 14 for Year 10 or IGCSE
Cambridge “ A” levels or Upper Secondary	2 years of study after year 11 or IGCSE or equivalent Min. Age 16 years for ‘A’ levels

The admission criteria is as follows:
