Tun Sri Dato' Mohd. Hussin Bin Abd. Hamid

Tun Sri Dato' Mohd. Hussin Bin Abd. Hamid is the Chairman, Advisory Board Malaysia. Dato' Hussin is the Director of the Board of Malaysia Debt Ventures Berhad. He was formerly the Senior Manager/Vice President, Corporate & Institutional Banking, Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad where he worked for 30 years. He also serves as a board member of the Export Import Bank of Malaysia Berhad, Malaysian International Merchant Bankers Berhad and TTDI Group of companies.

Dato’ Sri Abdul Hamidy Abdul Hafiz

Dato’ Sri Abdul Hamidy Abdul Hafiz is currently Chairman, Danajamin Nasional Berhad. His experience includes from a 12-year stint in Standard Chartered Bank and Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Affin Bank Berhad, to Managing Director, Pengurusan Danaharta Nasional Berhad. His other appointments are as Chairman of Corporate Debt Restructuring Committee (CDRC) (established by Bank Negara Malaysia), Board Member of Amanah Raya Berhad, Chairman of Investment Committee of Amanah Raya Berhad and Member, Board of Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin.

Dato’ Derrick Fernandez FCA

Dato’ Derrick Fernandez is a Chartered Accountant with 35 years experience in the Banking Industry specializing in credit and debt restructuring. He has over 18 years of experience in domestic and international banking with Standard Chartered where he served as Chief Inspector for Malaysia reporting directly to its Headquarter in London. He also served as Standard Chartered’s most Senior Regional Account Manager responsible for its largest corporate clients. He has also served as RHB’s Chief Credit Officer and is now the Executive Chairman of Sage 3 Capital Sdn Bhd, a specialist Debt Restructuring and financial advisory entity. Dato’ Derrick has served on a number of Boards, most notably Temasek owned Senoko Power Limited, Singapore’s largest power generation company. He served on that Board for 4 years.

Datuk Lean Meng Seong

Datuk Lean Meng Seong has extensive experience in the banking industry including with Standard Chartered Bank. He has served as Board Member of Credit Corporation Malaysia (represented Standard Chartered Bank), Chairman of Audit Committee of Credit Corporation Malaysia, Director, Phileo Allied Finance, Chairman of Phileo Allied Unit Trust, Chairman, Affin Factors Berhad and Alternate Director on the Board of Malaysian Electronic Payments System Berhad. He is also Member of the Education Committee of Institut Bank- Bank Malaysia. He is currently Director, Sage 3 Capital Sdn. Bhd. and Member of Board of Governors, Anglo-Chinese School, Ipoh (Methodist Secondary School).

Mr Temurnikar is the Chairman and Co-Founder of the Global Schools Foundation. Mr Atul oversees the entire operations of the foundation and its schools worldwide.

Kaustubh Bodhankar, Dy CEO

Mr Bodhankar is a member of the founding management team and has over the last few years handled the Foundation’s financials and new project implementations. Mr. Kaustubh looks after the New Growth sector and GIIS’s expansion in new countries.

Mr Nair is the founding member of the GIIS Malaysia team. Mr Manoj oversees entire GIIS operations in Kuala Lumpur and is presently Country Director of the Global Schools Foundation (Malaysia) and GIIS Malaysia.
